The Patriotic Vanguard Newspaper wrote article on Kushe’, May 8, 2013 Kushe’ Magazine stays involved in community projects by delivering and participating in programs that create awareness, provide access to quality of life resources, and give recognition to the Sierra Leone and broader African communities.

Health Finance & Entertainment Extravaganza: A 2011 public event organized by the Kushe’ team, attended by 300 participants and over 60 vendors, to promote health and financial awareness to members of the African communities in the Washington, DC area.

Celebrity Health Talk: A television program headed by one of Kushe’s co-founders Fatmata Koroma and delivered worldwide on the International Caribbean & African Network Television (ICAN-TV) to discuss topics on health and social welfare amongst Africans. Guests include music artists, politicians, entrepreneurs, athletes, and community organizers. The show is produced in the United States, the United Kingdom, and in Sierra Leone and can be viewed online from anywhere in the world.
